USTB Held Special Session Career Fair for Class of 2022 Graduates

On the morning of October 15th, USTB held a special session career fair for alumni and school board members’ enterprises and the class of 2022 graduates in the USTB Olympic Gymnasium (OG). More than 130 alumni and school board members’ enterprises, including Baowu Group, Shougang Group, JD.com, China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC) and other well-known enterprises participated in the career fair. Participating enterprises covered many fields, such as steel and metallurgy, equipment manufacturing, information technology, etc. Providing more than 2,000 jobs for graduates and attracting more than 3,000 graduates from inside and outside USTB to attend. Mr. YU Chengwen, Vice Chancellor of USTB, and Mr. HE Jin, Director of Alumni Association and Foundation Office, visited the alumni and enterprise representatives at the career fair.
Mr. YU exchanged views with the participants on the employment needs of enterprises, the development of enterprises and alumni, as well as university-enterprise cooperation. He said that on the occasion of celebrating the 70th anniversary of USTB, alumni enterprises are welcomed to recruit in USTB. He highly affirmed the alumni's devotion, care, and important contribution to their Alma Mater. He also expressed his heartfelt thanks to many alumni for their strong support to the development of their Alma Mater. He hoped that alumni could continue to care and support their Alma Mater and help USTB to build into a world-class university with distinctive characteristics as soon as possible.
