FAQ

Q: I have a problem with my visa, who should I call?

A: Please contact the Overseas Experts Affairs Section.


Q: A friend/family member/colleague/etc. is visiting me, can they stay in my apartment?

A: Sorry, according to relevant laws and regulations, that is NOT allowed.


Q: I would like to invite a colleague/grad student/etc. to join me for work at USTB, is that possible and how may I do that?

A: USTB is a eager employer of both full-time and short-term faculty, including visiting scholars, professors, and researchers. If you are interested in joining our team, please contact the Department of Human Resources.


Q: I have been asked to renew my visa, where do I need to go and what documents do I need to bring?

A: Please contact the Overseas Experts Affairs Section. For more information, please refer to Application Procedures.


Q: I feel ill or need to see a doctor, what is the procedure for using the campus clinic? What do I need?

A: Please go to the University Hospital for more information.


Q: I know someone who would like to apply to work at USTB, with whom should I put them?
