USTB boasts an expansive library with a number of electronic resources available to both faculty and students. Faculty are encouraged to make full use of the library and its variety of services in the course of their work, and to contact a librarian should they have any problems.

  • How to Connect with a Librarian

    Consultation Services

    In order to better facilitate communication between library patrons and librarians, the following consultation services are available. You may contact us using the following methods at your convenience.

    Online Consultation [click here]

    The virtual reference consulting system ‘Calis’ provides an online platform for answering questions from teachers and students by a librarian.

    User name: student/staff ID number.

    Password: the password of the library bibliographic retrieval system.

    Attention: after logging in, users must wait for their request to be reviewed before using the system. Letters in the student/staff ID must be capitalized when input to the system.

    Patrons can leave messages on the library website. Comments and suggestions will be displayed on the website together with the answers given by the administrators.

    1、Library, East Building, Room 101 - responsible for patron advice, book borrowing, library card applications, library card replacement, closing accounts for graduating students, interlibrary loan.
