Research Group from Ansteel Visited USTB

A group from Ansteel Group, including LIN Daqing, Chief Engineer, LIU Fengqiang, General Manager of Science and Technology Development Department, visited USTB to exchange views on scientific research cooperation and held a signing ceremony. President YANG Renshu attended the exchange meeting. LIU Xuefeng, Chancellor of Department of Science and Technology, ZHANG Jianliang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Metallurgy and Ecological Engineering, and personnel from related departments attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by LIU Xuefeng.
At the meeting, YANG Renshu introduced the current developmental situation of USTB, saying that USTB and Ansteel Group have a solid foundation for cooperation, wide cooperation areas, and bright prospects for cooperation. Especially since the signing of a new round of strategic cooperation agreement last year, the two sides have actively promoted the agreement and achieved fruitful results.
LIN Daqing expressed his gratitude to USTB for its continuous support to Ansteel. He said that this visit is to promote the implementation of this strategic cooperation agreement and to find more new cooperation points. He hopes that the two sides can continue to cooperate sincerely and seek for development together.
At the meeting, the two parties held the signing ceremony of four cooperation projects including “Development and Application of New Generation Sintering Intelligent Blending Technology” and “Research on the Correlation between the Service Environment of Hot-rolled Steel Plates such as Ship Plates and Beam Plates and the Environmental Spectrum of Accelerated Tests”. ZHANG Jianliang and WEI Guangsheng made keynote reports and technical exchanges on “Low-Carbon Pathway in Ironmaking Industry” and “Technology for Carbon Dioxide Resource Utilization in Steel Processes” focusing on peaking carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutral technology solutions.
