Throughout the year, the Confucius Institute partners with local schools to deliver “China Day” events and workshops. Students and pupils from all grades take turns participating in a large variety of workshops. Chinese taster sessions or lectures on Chinese culture are normally offered. Workshops such as folk music, calligraphy, paper-cutting, Tai Chi Fan dance are quite popular among local school students. “China Day” events offer local schools unique and opportunities to learn about Chinese culture by experiencing directly Chinese cultural activities.
