参赛办法
1 、参赛资格：非中国国籍的外国人士
2 、主题
（ 1 ）和谐安定的北京、北京人的新生活；
（ 2 ）北京的文化风采、文化魅力及人文关怀；
（ 3 ）在北京的游览、休闲、生活与工作；
（ 4 ）与北京市民友好相处的场景；
（ 5 ）对北京人最美好的印象。
3 、作品要求
（ 1 ）突出人文主题，以人文精神为主导来表现人的生活、学习、工作和娱乐；
（ 2 ）真实创作的纪实类作品（不收电脑创意类作品）；
（ 3 ）投稿者本人拍摄作品。
4 、参赛方式
（ 1 ）参赛作品需填写标题、拍摄地点、被拍摄物名称及作者姓名、国籍、通讯地址、邮政编码、联系电话，注明 “ 参加 ‘ 外国友人眼中的人文北京 ’ 摄影文化活动 ” 。参赛作品须实景拍摄（不收电脑创意类作品）。参赛作品请将电子版交到留学生办公室 109 房间。
5 、截稿时间： 2010 年 6 月 25 日
稿件评选
为鼓励更多的优秀作品参赛，组委会将邀请有关专家组成评审小组进行评选，初选评出 400 幅入围佳作后，经复选评出 50 幅获奖作品 , 再从中评选出一等奖、二等奖、三等奖和优秀奖。
一等奖 2 名：奖金 10000 元；
二等奖 5 名：奖金 5000 元；
三等奖 10 名：奖金 3000 元；
优秀奖 33 名：奖金 500 元。
Announcement
Here is your invitation to participate in the 2010 “People’s Beijing in the Eyes of Foreign Friends” photo contest, a photographic and cultural activity organized by the Beijing Municipal Government. The photo contest will create a comprehensive photographic record of Beijing with respect to its care for the humanities, glamour, culture and the colourful profiles and characteristics of its people. Through this activity foreign friends living in Beijing will immerse themselves in Beijing’s daily life, while foreign friends visiting Beijing will see and feel the changes observed by others in this amazing city. The Organizing Committee of the Photo Contest includes representatives of Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and other governmental departments. All sincerely invite you and your friends to participate in the photo contest.
Rules of the Photo Contest
1. Qualification of the participant: Foreigners of Non-Chinese Nationality
2. Theme of photos: Themes of photos may refer to
(1) Harmonious and peaceful Beijing featuring new aspects of residents’ lives;
(2) Features and glamour of the culture of Beijing and her humanistic spirit;
(3) Participants’ lives in Beijing including visual records of visits, leisure activities or work in Beijing;
(4) Scenes reflecting friendships between participants and Beijing residents, or,
(5) The participants’ best impressions of Beijing residents.
3. Requirements of Photos:
(1) Photos shall emphasize the theme of humanity and reflect people’s lives, study, and work and leisure time;
(2) Photos must be true and original (no computer-generated works or graphics accepted), however, High Dynamic Range (HDR) and “stitched” images are acceptable so long as they represent actual scenes or events with no physical objects added or subtracted from the image via computer.
(3) Photos must have been taken by the entrant.
4. Participation:
(1) Photos should be submitted with the titles of the works, locations where the photos were taken, names of the photographed objects or events, the photographer’s name, nationality, address, post code, telephone number.
(2) Photos should be sent to Room 109, the International Students Office.
(3) Format Requirements: Jpeg, RAW, Tiff (Files should be convertible to a Tiff file of at least 17.2 MB (megabytes); submit digital images only.
5. Deadline of submission: June 25, 2011.
Evaluation
To encourage the entry of excellent photos in the contest, the Organizing Committee will invite experts to constitute an evaluation panel. Four hundred excellent photos will be selected in the initial evaluation. From these photos, the panel of evaluation will select 50 photos for awards. After further evaluation, 50 photos will be selected and judged to decide the photos to be awarded the Grand Prizes, Runners-Up, and Third Place winners: 10,000 yuan each will be given to Grand Prize winners (2); 5,000 yuan each for Runners-Up winners (5); 3,000 yuan each for Third Place winners (10); 500 yuan each for winners of an honourable mention (33).
